The Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the County government of Murang’a on 26th January, 2016. The signing took place at the county government’s board room between RCMRD’s representatives and Murang’a County government’s representatives including the county secretary, County Executive Committee (CEC) member (Lands, Housing & Planning) Hon. Sarah Masaki and CEC member – Eng. Amos Njoroge.
The Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development’s (RCMRD) representatives held a discussion with delegates from the Eastern African Land Administration Network (EALAN) at the Centre’s premises on 29th January, 2015. The major point of discussion of the day was the upcoming Annual General Meeting and Conference jointly organized by EALAN and Ardhi University to be held between 20th July and 22nd July, 2016 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Those present at the meeting included Dr. Felician Komu and Dr. Agnes Mwasumbi from Ardhi University, Mr. Danilo Antonio and Mr. Cyprian Selebalo from UN-Habitat GLTN, and Prof. Dr.-Ing. John Bosco Kiema, Dr. Katetegeilwe Rwiza, and Mr. Byron Anangwe from RCMRD.
