RCMRD Annual report 2016 has today been published on the website. The annual report, which includes reports from all departments, can be found here The financial year covers the period from 1 January to 31 December 2016. RCMRD is obliged to make this information public pursuant to the Agreement establishing the Centre. The information was submitted for publication through the office of the Director General, Dr. Emmanuel Nkurunziza.
Countries across the continent are marking Africa Day, in honor of the May 25 anniversary of the 1963 founding of the Organisation of African Unity, the prelude to the African Union. RCMRD has today officially admitted 160 students for Diploma in Land Survey, Diploma in Cartography and GIS, and Diploma in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing courses. There was a feeling of joy and excitement for the newly admitted students as they were being oriented into the institution. They asserted that they were eager to start learning at RCMRD. During the orientation ceremony, the students were addressed by Ag, Director General, Ag Director Technical Services, Ag Director Common Services, Principal Digital Surveyor, among other professionals in the field of Surveying, Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing.
