The Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD) staff, Pauline Ogola and Grace Koech attended a two-week ‘Managing Risk in the Face of Climate Change’ training in Bangkok, Thailand from 28th March to 8th April 2016. The training was jointly organized by Wageningen University and Research Centre under

the Centre for Development and Innovation and Asian Disaster Preparedness Centre (ADPC). The participants were drawn from regional government environmental agencies, academia and Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change fields. The major objective of the training was to equip participants with skills of integrating Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation strategies in their line of work
