The coronavirus pandemic has left many of us feeling restless on how to acquire much needed skills like GIS. RCMRD stands ready to share its expertise to enable stakeholders to keep the doors of learning open. To this end, RCMRD will start an online GIS training that will be conducted online on RCMRD’s eLearning Platform and participants will have access to self-paced exercises, video tutorials, notes, training data and the required ArcGIS software inclusive of a one month training license.
The course is competency based and participants are expected to complete all the modules, attempt all quizzes and execute a terminal practical exam. The training shall have a time frame of 2 to 4 weeks for completion and a certificate shall be issued to those who complete it successfully.
