Our library is well stocked with recent publications, magazines and newsletters on geoinformation technologies (remote sensing, GIS, GPS) and their applications as well as ICT publications. The library is extensively used by researchers (M.Sc and PhD) from our local universities whose research involves mainly the use of remote sensing techniques and GIS. The Centre has produced numerous reports, which are readily available in its library. Among its latest reports are:
Monthly Early Warning Bulletin for the Greater Horn of Africa. This Bulletin is produced in collaboration with USGS/FEWSNET, DMCN, WFP, DLCO, LEWS, and ILRI, etc (on going);
Wind Resources Atlas and Database for Ministry of Energy, Government of Kenya;
Hydrological digital database for Somalia, UN Food and Agricultural Organization, Nairobi, Kenya.
GIS database and Decision Support System for Areas in the East African Rift Valley Region, 1998-2001. Project funded by European Union;
